Description
Come join a growing technology company that is based in beautiful Wilmington, NC as their Q/A techy. As the Q/A person, you will be responsible for facilitating and managing in depth testing of new or enhanced products, provide backup assistance to the front line support group, provide second level help desk support using proven technical and proble resolution skills. You will also ensure quality corporate products and services and assist managmenet in its product development strategy.
Duties:
*Document corporate product defects, 'bugs' and provide support to base help desk as needed.
*Write test plans and monitor release status.
*Assist developers with general problem resolutions with respect to new or enhanced applications.
*Provide feedback on the various features of the corporate products, supplying both the pros & cons of the various techniques.
*Assist in training members of the support team.
*Work professionally and cooperatively with all team members.
Requirements:
*Bachelor's degree and 3 years relevant experience, or 5 years relevant experience.
*Technical knowlege troubleshooting complex integrated systems.
*Interpersonal skills, excellent written/verbal skills.
*Ability to work independently, while keeping coworkers informed of project status.
*Solid knowledge of MS Windows, SQL Server and basic business functions, preferably public school system accounting
*High degree of professionalism and responsibility/dependability.
*Ability to meet deadlines and follow through with management directives.
