After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Wendy moved to London to work in the Communications Department of The Building Societies Association of England. There she was directly engaged in the placement and relocation of individuals throughout the UK and gained firsthand experience as a liaison between banks, mortgage lenders and the public.
She also worked as an Associate National Television Buyer with Young & Rubicam Advertising in New York, and as a Sales Associate in a major radio market where she demonstrated the ability to find and then fit a niche demographically for regional clients such as Harris Teeter, Frito Lay, and Nations Bank, as well as many local clients.
Wendy went on to apply her sales savvy in the highly competitive arena as an Executive Pharmaceutical Representative. She thrived on the challenges of maintaining the business aspect of her territory and finding ways to market her products to fit specific physician and patient needs.
